Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER):
- The endoplasmic reticulum is a network of membranes found in eukaryotic cells.
- There are two types: Rough ER, with ribosomes attached, involved in protein synthesis and processing; and Smooth ER, involved in lipid synthesis and detoxification.
